Health Information Management Director Jobs

A Health Information Management Director manages and coordinates daily activities related to the collection of information for patient care. This includes administration of financial, physical, and human resources for processing clinical information. A Health Information Management Director performs all duties in accordance with state, Federal, and accrediting agency guidelines and standards.

Job duties of a Health Information Management Director may include:

• Developing a departmental operational plan that aligns specific goals and objectives of the HIM Department.
• Analyzing and developing the departmental operating budget, policies, and procedures.
• Ensuring the delivery of quality care through active participation and the development of a solid management plan.
• Other duties as assigned.
