ICD-10 Training
With the mandated adoption of ICD-10 CM diagnosis codes and ICD-10-PCS procedure codes coming in October 2014, healthcare facilities and other providers are looking to assess their current environments and acquire the knowledge necessary to prepare for this change. Maxim Health Information Services (MHIS) is pleased to offer ICD-10 training and education services nationwide on an individual or multiple user/departmental basis.

Education and Training
MHIS' ICD-10 education and training is web-based. Each participant is provided with a username and password that allows them to launch interactive training modules covering a wide range of ICD-10-related topics. Throughout the training, the user will be required to take self-assessment checks for knowledge retention purposes. Users will receive continuing education units (CEUs) pending a passing score.
Upon completion of the entire ICD-10 education and training program, each participant will understand how to apply and implement the new coding sets.
Comprehensive Training
This comprehensive training will cover the four major building blocks:
- Readiness Assessment
- Anatomy and Physiology for ICD-10 Coding
- HCPro ICD-10 Basics Boot Camp
- Post Assessment
ICD-10 training and education is tailored to meet the client's needs. It can be accessed by just one employee or entire departments. Each user will be provided their own unique account and may progress through the training at their own pace.
