Position Description:
The Coding Auditor audits and reviews coding procedures and results for Maxim Health Information Services (MHIS) clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs coding reviews and audits for MHIS clients
- Adheres to all Maxim and worksite rules, policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned /necessary

Minimum Requirements:
- The following credentials (or combination) are required: Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), and Certified Coding Specialist - Physician (CCS-P)
- Must have ICD-9 CPT coding experience
- Knowledge of Inpatient, Outpatient, and Emergency Room coding specialties and experience with APR, DRG's a plus
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word software programs
