Maxim Health Information Services is looking for a Cerner Systems Analyst for a position in Tampa, FL. This position is responsible for working on the implementation, build, configuration, testing, and support of Cerner applications.
The Cerner Application Analyst will:
-Implement and support current Cerner Millennium environment.
-Function as the liaison between the IT and user community
-Identify and document business requirements and modified business processes
-Translate business requirements into system design, ensuring that systems deliver the desired capabilities to meet the needs of the users in a timely fashion
-Work with users in various business units, gathering requirements, and using applications to meet business needs
-Develop detailed Unit Test plans, execute tests to verify code developed satisfies design requirements, and update code/configuration based on results.
-Work with clinical representatives after the conclusion of projects to measure results of the initiatives
Other responsibilities may include:
-Manage small-scale software implementation initiatives. Utilize project management framework as defined by IT Management
-Serve on appropriate System Information committees.
-Provide after-hours on-call service as required to support applications systems
