Maxim Health Information Services is seeking a Coding Systems Analyst for a position in Toms River, NJ. This is for a contract to hire position.
Responsibilities:
-Installing, supporting, and maintaining servers or other computer systems especially those related to coding and clinical documentation
-System planning and responding to service outages and other problems
-Ensuring that all coders and coding related personnel have completed their mandatory Corporate Compliance training and ensures the timely and accurate submission of all coding data that is in compliance with ICD-9-CM / CPT guidelines and Medical Center timeliness guidelines
Other responsibilities may include:
-Light programming, project management for systems-related projects, supervising or training of staff, and being the equivalent of a trouble-shooter for computer problems beyond the knowledge of department staff
-Work in conjunction with the other employees to provide overall basic coverage of all computer systems utilized by the Health Information Management Department
-Acts as a liaison and reference for Local Compliance Officer, Case Management, Standards, Patient Accounting and Finance Departments, and Physicians for reports and computer related inquiries
