Maxim Health Information Services is looking for an IT Project Manager for a six month contract-to-hire position in Hartford, CT.
This position will be mainly dealing with application development, and will have some interaction with the infrastructure side of the Information Technology Department.
Responsibilities include:
-Manage and facilitate full life cycle IT Services projects
-Create and maintain project plans and documentation
-Facilitate standup, planning and retrospective meetings
-Work with internal departments and external vendors to obtain approvals and negotiate service agreements
-Coach IT Services professionals in how to best apply project management methodologies to their organization
-Maintain relationships with key business units and software development teams on all aspects of implementing new technology infrastructure
-Report on project progress and risks to management
Requirements are listed below, but not limited to:
-Eight plus years of experience within a large enterprise IT environment
-Four plus years of Project Management, Application Development
-Experience managing multi-million dollar projects
-Experience with PMBOK-based methodologies (Waterfall required; Some exposure to Agile is desirable)
-PMI certification desired
-Property and Casualty experience desired
