MHIS has jobs for experienced healthcare professionals to support its offerings to customers, including; onsite and remote coding services, auditing and review services, education and training, HIM outsourcing, services to the Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Centers, and clinical documentation improvement services. Maxim Health Information Services is seeking experienced Inpatient/Outpatient Medical Coders with AHIMA and/or AAPC certifications for assignments in Los Angeles, CA.
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of three years coding experience
- Must have one of the following certifications: RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, or CPC-H
- Must have an understanding of CPT and HCPCS
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiar with 3M or QuadraMed
