Maxim Health Information Services is looking for a SharePoint Developer for a year long contract position in New London, CT. This position will be responsible for full scale development with SharePoint applications, as well as analyzing business requirements, project management, design, developing technical specifications, coding, assisting with unit testing implementation, post-production application support, and project/task estimation.
Qualifications
Requirements Analysis & Interaction skills:
-Ability to actively listen to user feedback and requests, determining how to turn those needs into Excel or SharePoint solutions
-Be a self-starter with limited guidance and deliver in a timely fashion
Excel skills:
-Excel 2003/2007 usage including formulas, protecting, and charting
-Macro management, including VBScript maintenance
-Integration into SharePoint and usage depending upon needs (see SharePoint bullets below)
SharePoint skills:
-Three plus years of SharePoint experience
-Understanding of Site Collection Administration and navigation
-User experience best practices for customer usage and knowledge transfer (e.g. Surveys, Discussion Boards, Wiki’s, Blogs, Document Library/List customizations, etc.)
-SharePoint no-code development for enhanced information display SharePoint Designer 2007 (e.g. Workflows, DataView Web Part, RSS feed consuming, etc.), InfoPath, Content Editor Web Part, & Content Query Web Part
-Understanding of capabilities and limitations of Office 2003/2007 formats in SharePoint Document Library’s for user creation and editing (e.g. check-in/out, version history, editing, etc.)
-Creating and maintaining Content Types of above Excel items for user consistency and versioning
