Remote Medical Coder Jobs
Qualified Remote Medical Coder job candidates possess an essential knowledge of both the medical and business sides of healthcare. Candidates must also have a thorough understanding of the content of medical records as well as clinical knowledge, including extensive training in anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and clinical disease process.
Job duties of a Remote Medical Coder may include:
- Assigning codes to diagnoses and procedures in order to ensure proper financial reimbursement from insurance companies and government agencies.
- Availability to work from own home or other remote site not within a medical or healthcare facility.
